This article was written to show the difference between the teaching of the ONE TRUE CHURCH and the many false churches.

The question was, “How does one come to Christ for salvation in order for one to become a child of God?” All must be TAUGHT THE TRUTH and LEARN from HIS BOOK, THE BIBLE. It is written in the prophets, “And they shall ALL be TAUGHT OF GOD. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the FATHER comes to Me. (John 6:44,45)

It is very important for people to be taught that if God has not authorized a thing in worship, we MUST NOT and SHOULD NOT USE IT. There are many examples found in the Bible about people who failed to follow God’s instruction. “Without faith one cannot please God.” (Heb. 11:6)

A good example of this can be found in the Old Testament about Nadab and Abihu. God had given Nadab and Abihu instruction as to what kind of fire to offer. These two men offered a STRANGE FIRE before Jehovah which He had not commanded them. “And there came forth fire from before Jehovah, and devoured them, and they died before Jehovah.” (Lev. 10:1, 2)

These two men lost their lives because they thought what they did was right. This same thing continues to happen today with all the religious confusion. Denominations are teaching contrary to the world of God and failing to follow His instruction.

People tend to think they can worship the Lord in any way and be pleasing unto Him. The plain TRUTH about the matter is that we can’t follow after the traditions and commandments of men and be right in the sight of God. We ought to obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29)

Some religious groups teach that where ever you are this minute (it doesn’t make any difference where), bow your head and pray this simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and unless you save me I am lost forever. I come to you now, the best WAY I know how, and ask you to save me. I receive you as my personal Savior and trust you to justify me.” Anyone who believes this doctrine of man has truly been deceived and does not know the TRUTH about GOD’S SIMPLE PLAN OF SALVATION. How can anyone receive Christ as their personal Savior without doing what He has commanded? What happened to Nadab and Abihu with their strange fire? Are you willing to risk your soul for some strange way? What about the Lord’s way instead of some man’s strange way? Hearing the word of God is necessary to one calling upon the Lord to be saved. The Bible warns us to “Take heed what you hear.” (Mark 4:24) and also “Take heed how ye hear.” (Luke 8:18)

Now we know that God does not hear sinners but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. (John 9:3 1) ANYBODY can call upon the name of the Lord, but He only hears those who do his will.
