The true nature of reality has always given us humans great difficulty. From the beginning, we have struggled to figure out this earth we live on and how it is we can best deal with it. We have come to understand that dealing with the world using false or inaccurate information accomplishes little or nothing and can even get us and everyone else in a lot of trouble. Succeeding, generally speaking, in what ever we attempt to do, requires a proper understanding of reality.

Of course there are some misconceptions that do not actually harm us. For example, mankind thought for centuries that the earth was flat; didn’t accomplish anything but no one was actually hurt by it, unless you consider that this false belief probably delayed the discovery of America for who knows how long. The other side of this coin is like the ostrich, who, they say, when in danger sticks it’s head in the sand. This kind of thinking can be very dangerous simply because the ostrich is totally out of touch with reality.

I say these things to emphasize the importance of understanding the way things really are. This is especially important, even more important than all else, when it comes to the reality that exists between God and man.

The simple fact is that mankind, as a whole, has progressed little from the spiritual stone ages.

The vast majority of the six billion humans on this planet today do not believe God exists or the god of their thinking in no way resembles the God of the Bible. Furthermore, the vast majority of all those who acknowledge Jehovah God and His Son Jesus Christ are living in a fantasy world completely out of touch with the simple reality revealed in the Bible. Denominations, who believe in, support and promote religious division, fight against God and do the bidding of Satan.

Mankind will never fully grasp the reality of the world around us. Scientists have been trying to unlock the secrets of nature for thousands of years and it keeps getting harder and harder to learn one new fact. It is ironic that the only area of reality we can be sure of is in our understanding of God and His will in our lives, because God has revealed it to us in the Bible. Yet this area of our understanding, for the vast majority, is the most removed from reality.

My hearts desire and prayer for you is that you come to understand the reality of the New Testament. It is crucial to your success if you are to please our creator and reach heaven. Don’t be like the ostrich. Come out of the spiritual stone age. Take responsibility for knowing the reality God has freely shown to us in His word.
